Four members of Vision 3 Architects have completed the United States Green Building Council's certification requirements for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Professional Accreditation. The accreditation of Christen McKernan; James Hughes, AIA; Matthew McGeorge, AIA; and Paul Castellone, AIA brings the number of LEED Accredited Professionals on Vision 3's staff to five.
LEED is a national standard developed by the United States Green Building Council that provides a comprehensive framework for assessing building performance and compliance with environmental goals. The standard emphasizes strategies for sustainable site development, water efficiency, energy performance, material selection, and indoor environmental quality. The LEED Professional Accreditation exam certifies that a professional within the design profession has demonstrated their understanding of green building practices and principles, as well as proficiency with LEED specific requirements, resources, and processes.

McKernan is an intern architect and is working on projects for Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island and Linden Sq.
McGeorge is a project manager and is working on Metro Office Park East, and Bay Tower Medical Center.
Hughes is a project manager for Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island's new inpatient facility and administrative offices, 300 Jefferson Blvd. corporate office building, and the Renaissance at Pleasant View condominiums.
Castellone is an associate and is in charge of the hospitality team. He is a member of the R.I. chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
