Meet IREM Member: Candice Morse

A Suma Cume Laude graduate of Suffolk University, Candice Morse, CPM, joined Thayer & Associates property management team in 2003. Morse's great grandfather, Harry Gilbert, Holding Key No. 15 and one of the country's first Certified Property Managers (CPM) - established The Gilbert Companies, Inc. In 1987 his grandson Douglas Gilbert Thayer, CPM (Candice's farther) acquired the family-run company and incorporated Thayer & Associates. Candice now represents the fourth generation of professional real estate managers. Morse actively manages a portfolio comprised of more then 400 condominium units in the Greater Boston Area. In 2004, Candice received her Accredited Residential Manager's designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management - Boston Chapter and in May 2008 earned her Certified Property Manager's designation. She was awarded the first Fourth Generation Award through IREM as the first fourth generation Certified Property Manager in the Institute's history. In 2007, Candice was inducted to serve on the Executive Counselors Committee for the IREM Boston Chapter. She is presently chairing the IREM Public Relations Committee and serving as the Chapter's Vice President. Candice is also an active member of the Community Associations Institute- New England Chapter. Candice currently resides in Littleton, Massachusetts with her husband Aaron and daughter Eden.
