Milford, CT According to Michael Richetelli, president and designated broker of Colonial Properties, Inc., the firm has negotiated a lease at 70 Turnpike Sq.  Fred Messore, senior vice president at Colonial Properties, represented the landlord, Milford Associates, in negotiating a long-term lease with Golden Corral.  This will be Golden Corral’s first location in Conn.

The 13,500 s/f retail space is comprised of what was formerly known as Hometown Buffet and Once Upon a Child.  Golden Corral was represented by Lisa Whitney and Jennifer Yang of Pinpoint Real Estate.  The attorney representing Milford Associates was Paul Petigrow Esq. of N.J.  The buyer’s attorney was William Carello of Wofsey, Rosen, Kweskin & Kuriansky, LLP in Stamford.

“Colonial Properties is pleased to be a part of negotiating the lease for the first Golden Corral restaurant in CT.  We expect this to be a very successful location for the well-known buffet restaurant, as it was formerly occupied by Hometown Buffet and is in a prime Rte. 1 location, adjacent to the Milford Crossing Shopping Center and the Connecticut Post Shopping Mall,” said Richetelli.
