Messore of Colonial Properties brokers $900,000 sale of 3,678 s/f

New Haven, CT According to Michael Richetelli, president and designated broker of Colonial Properties, Inc., Fred Messore, senior vice president brokered the sale of 27 High St. The 3,678 s/f commercial building on .09 acre sold for $900,000.

The buyer intends to convert the building into residential apartments.  Messore represented the buyer, Pike International.  The seller, University Lutheran Ministry of New Haven, was represented by Jack Hill of Seabury Hill Realtors.  The attorney for Pike Int’l. was Greg Lattanzi of The Law Offices of Gregory T. Lattanzi, LLC of New Haven.  The seller’s attorney was Bruce Peabody of Winick, Ruben, Hoffnung, Peabody & Mendel, LLC of New Haven. 

“This sale, along with several others that we have completed in the New Haven CBD, is indicative of the high demand for downtown real estate right now and the trend of redeveloping and repurposing underutilized properties for residential use,” said Richetelli.
