Jump!Zone, an indoor children's entertainment facility filled with obstacle courses, inflatables and giant slides, has leased 18,323 s/f of prime store space in Waterbury's busy retail hub in what is believed to be the area's largest retail space transaction during the past year. This will be the company's third location in the New York tri-state region.

Dominick Musilli, an executive vice president at RHYS Commercial and head of its Retail Division, and associate Michael Weiner, represented the landlord, Lakewood Road Investments LLC, in the long-term lease transaction. Jump!Zone expects to open its newest store this month at 855 Lakewood Rd., a highly trafficked shopping district featuring several major shopping centers: Mattatuck Plaza, Waterbury Plaza and Naugatuck Valley Mall.
"In what has to be one of the most challenging periods faced by retailers in recent history, Jump!Zone's lease is a great sign of optimism for the Waterbury retail market. The company is a great example of how to creatively use the glut of vacant big box spaces that are currently available," said Musilli.
