N.E. Land Title Association is your premier resource for education, information & networking

New England Land Title Association (NELTA) is one of the title industry's premier resources for education, information and networking. Organized in 1970, NELTA is currently comprised of nearly 400 members from each of the six New England states. Our membership includes title insurance underwriting companies and corporate abstract companies; real estate attorneys and corporate title agents; bankers, land surveyors, abstractors and others in businesses directly related to the title industry. NELTA members continue to vigilantly monitor the legislative issues affecting our industry and work to protect their interests. NELTA members stay abreast of their profession by their involvement with other practitioners who share the same concerns and face the same challenges and know the enormous value that membership affords by enhancing their professional careers. NELTA members stay up-to-date on the latest industry issues with spring and fall educational programs. Many of our new members hear about NELTA through the educational programs we put on throughout New England. The NELTA Education Committee will be meeting over the summer to work on locations new programs for the fall so be sure to check the NELTA web site at www.nelta.org for information and registration forms. NELTA will hold its 40th Annual Convention at the Wequassett Inn Resort & Golf Club in Chatham, Cape Cod, Mass. from June 18th - 21st. Mark Winter, the president-elect of the American Land Title Association in Washington, D.C. is the keynote speaker giving members the national viewpoint on the title industry, advising on current trends and changes, and will report on ALTA activities on behalf of the industry. These meetings are a wonderful mix of personal relaxation, professional education, with up-to-date industry information, family entertainment, and fabulous social events. There is no better way to stay abreast of your profession than by involvement with other practitioners who share the same concerns and face the same challenges. NELTA members have discovered the enormous value that membership affords enhancing their professional careers: *Educational Offerings: NELTA continues its commitment to be a premier educational organization. Led by a regionally diverse board of directors, NELTA presents educational programs throughout the New England states. *E-News Bulletins: Timely, electronic Bulletins that are an exclusive member benefit. When industry news breaks, NELTA brings it right to your e-mail, making you one of the first to know and giving you a competitive edge. *Networking Opportunities: The key to any association is the people who comprise it. NELTA members develop lasting friendship and business relationships via committee services, receptions at NELTA events, meetings and conventions. *Annual Convention: NELTA members and their families get together for three days of fun and professional development at our annual convention in June of each year. It's not only a wonderful fun-filled way to kick off the summer season, it also provides the opportunity to meet with many of the title industry leaders in an informal setting *NELTA NEWS: The preeminent semi-annual publication of the land title industry, NELTA NEWS contains information and articles that keep you up-to-date on land title issues, as well as general business articles on subjects that affect everyone in real estate.
