NAIOP's 21st Annual Golf Tournament to tee off on June 3rd

NAIOP Mass. is pleased to present the 21st Annual NAIOP Golf Tournament, which has raised more than $1.25 million for Heading Home over the past 20 years. Held June 3rd on four courses in Stow, the tournament is expected to draw 500+ commercial real estate professionals for a fun day of golf, networking, and doing good! NAIOP has had a long-standing relationship with Heading Home and is proud to support its "Housing First" approach and the wonderful work they do for so many area families. While acknowledging the challenging economic climate of this year's tournament, the members of NAIOP's Charitable Events Committee have remained committed to success, as have NAIOP's leaders. "We recognize these are uncertain times for everyone, but none more so than for the many families and individuals served by Heading Home," said David Begelfer, NAIOP's CEO, who received Heading Home's Special Appreciation Award in 2007 for his decades of support. "The need is greater than ever before, and we intend to continue our role as Heading Home's largest single source of funding - helping them to continue their important work with area families and individuals." The tournament itself is played bramble style with a shotgun start on two courses at Stow Acres and one each at nearby Butternut and Wedgewood Pines country clubs. A barbecue lunch is served on each course and play is followed by a catered cocktail party, raffle, and silent auction where players from all four courses can gather to compare shots while they wait for the winners to be announced. Registration is $400 per person, or $1,500 per foursome, and include green fees, golf cart, special gifts, lunch, and the popular networking reception. Sponsorships are still available as well, ranging from $750-$7,500, and are a great way to support the cause while getting valuable exposure for your firm. Last year NAIOP Massachusetts was able to contribute $145,000 to Heading Home as a result of the tournament's generous sponsors and contributors. To help NAIOP reach its goal this year, consider serving as a sponsor, donating a raffle or auction item, or sign up for a foursome!
