NAIOP to hold cocktail function on Plymouth Rock Studios - May 19

May 06, 2009 - Front Section
The Mass. chapter of NAIOP will hold a presentation on Plymouth Rock Studios. The event will be held on May 19 starting at 5:30 at the Westin Copley Place.
The developers of Plymouth Rock Studios, a $500-million film and television studio complex set to open next year, hope to bring more than 2,000 jobs and many tourists to the area. Billed as the world's first LEED-certified green studio complex, it will feature 14 sound stages and a 10-acre back lot, plus production offices, post-production facilities, and an amenity village with a theater, retail, high-end hotel, and an education center.
Learn more at this special cocktail event featuring Plymouth Rock's managing officer Joe DiLorenzo who will provide an update on the project, including a look at its financing structure, its complex permitting process, the role of new government incentives, and the potential "spill-over effect" that could raise revenues and increase development opportunities throughout Massachusetts.
The cost is $55 per NAIOP member and $85 per non-member.
For more information call NAIOP at 781-453-6900 or email Pauline Rand at [email protected].
All registrations received after 5:00 pm on Monday, May 18th will be processed at the door and will include a $25 fee. Reservations must be cancelled by 10:00 am on May 15th to receive a refund.
