Winter Garden, FL NEI General Contracting completed construction of the Mission Grove at Stoneybrook senior living community. NEI’s Southeast team worked with Leo Brown Group, which oversaw the development of the new property.
NEI’s experience in all types of residential construction was pivotal in the completion of this community. With a portfolio of work that includes both affordable and market-rate properties, its project management team understood the need to deliver a world-class environment for older adults while meeting aggressive occupancy goals so the property could accept new residents as soon as possible.
Featuring a mix of independent and assisted living apartments along with a dedicated memory care space, Mission Grove at Stoneybrook addresses a significant need in metropolitan Orlando. By providing comfortable, feature-rich units for older adults who do not yet need round-the-clock care, residents can enter the community knowing that assisted living and memory care options are available to them as they age-in-place. In addition, the amenities – including a resort-style zero-entry pool, pickleball courts, fireside lounges, and a grab-and-go cafe – offer residents of all independence levels a resort-like experience.
NEI continues to expand its operations in the southeast, adding key personnel to its management team. In recent months, Tony Tenreiro was promoted to vice president of Southeast operations, bringing experience in multifamily new construction, historic adaptive reuse, and large-scale rehabilitation efforts.
“As a company, we pride ourselves on building communities that reflect both the requirements of the client and the comfort of the future occupants,” said Josef Rettman, president, NEI. “NEI is committed to constructing facilities that take into account the evolving needs of older adults, and in working with Leo Brown Group, we found a partner that understands the importance of aging in place with dignity and joy.”
