New England Real Estate Journal veteran Benjamin Summers, 92, passes away

Benjamin Summers

Hingham, MA Long-time New England Real Estate Journal editor Benjamin Summers, formerly of Scituate, MA, passed away on June 14, 2021 at the age of 92.

Born in Boston, he served in the Army during the Korean war.

Summers began working at the New England Real Estate Journal in 1965 and worked at the Journal for 52 years.

The Journal employees all loved how Ben enjoyed being our Secret Santa every December, dressing-up in his red pants and Christmas suspenders.

He loved all New England Sports, and was an active member of Scituate Rotary and B’nai B’rith.
