Tractor Supply Company - Old Saybrook, CT

New England Retail Properties, Inc. has completed construction of the newest Tractor Supply Company (TSC) store in Old Saybrook, the eleventh location in Connecticut. TSC operates 1,276 stores in 48 states throughout the U.S. and caters to supplying the lifestyle needs of recreational farmers and ranchers.
This store is located on 401 Middlesex Turnpike (Rte. 154). The property was formerly home to the Standard Door Company which operated their sales and distribution center out of a 10,000 s/f building on 5.37 acres. That building was razed and a new 19,097 s/f building with a 15,000 s/f fenced outdoor display and sales area was constructed in its place per Tractor Supply's plans. This store is conveniently located to meet the needs of customers along the shoreline towns of Connecticut. The property was developed by NERP Holding & Acquisitions Company, LLC and is owned and managed by Amigos 3, LLC, both affiliated with New England Retail Properties, Inc.
Mark D'Addabbo, president, along with James Stachelek acquired the property, negotiated the lease with Tractor Supply Company and constructed the building for Tractor Supply. Jim Cassidy of Pearson & Cassidy, located in Rocky Hill, was the civil engineer for the project, Glen Oxford of Oxford Architecture, located in Nashville, Tenn., was the architect for the building. WR Newman, also located in Nashville, served as the general contractor for the development, bringing the store in on time.
Financing for the project was provided by Mary Meehan of PeoplesBank in Holyoke, Mass.
