NEWiRE hosts Women of Legacy Panel on February 9th

Since its creation in 1982, New England Women in Real Estate (NEWiRE) has been an important force behind the increasing success of women in New England's real estate community. For three decades, NEWiRE has provided a forum for networking and professional development to women in various commercial real estate disciplines throughout the Greater Boston area. One founding goal was to establish the highest quality real estate organization in Boston, where members received the best "take home" value from each meeting and opportunities to get to know each other. As we embark on our 30th year of promoting the advancement of women in commercial real estate, NEWiRE programs continue to be relevant, thought-provoking and informative events for our members.
On February 9th, NEWiRE will host its second Women of Legacy Networking Reception and Panel Discussion. The Women of Legacy event provides the opportunity for members and prospective members to learn more about a few of NEWiRE's legacy members who are leaders in the real estate community. We are delighted to have these women together for an evening of candid discussion. This year's panel presentation will include:
Tricia Bruno - principal,
Tricia Bruno & Associates, Inc.
Bruno is an entrepreneur who is the founder of Tricia Bruno & Associates, a marketing consulting, branding and strategic planning firm servicing the commercial and residential real estate industries since 1986.
Cappy Daume - senior vice
president, The Davis Companies
As director of asset management, Daume is responsible for asset management and strategic planning for properties in The Davis Companies' portfolio. She has 20 years experience in investment sales and leasing of commercial real estate.
Marty Jones - president and CEO, MassDevelopment
Jones joined MassDevelopment in April 2011 as president and CEO. She is responsible for the agency's initiatives and goals in real estate and finance to create economic development in Massachusetts. She has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Barbara Smith-Bacon - senior vice president/project manager, Berkeley Investments
Smith-Bacon is responsible for overseeing all development initiatives for Berkeley Investments and in that capacity has lead the planning and permitting for CitySquare Worcester. She has over 25 years experience in the real estate industry in development, project management and law.
