Bright Horizons Children's Centers, Inc., one of the world's leading providers of employer-sponsored child care, early education and work/life consulting services, has renewed its 7,639 s/f lease at 300 First Stamford Place one year early for a term of five years, according to Jeffrey Newman, executive vice president of W&M Properties, the marketing and management agent for the building.
The Massachusetts-based company, a First Stamford Place tenant since 1993, manages over 640 child care centers for more than 700 corporate clients in North America and Europe. Bright Horizons offers on-the-premises child care for tenants at First Stamford Place and nearby office buildings."
Newman and assistant vice president Kathleen Caracappa represented the landlord in the transaction. The tenant represented itself.
First Stamford Place is a three-building, 810,000 s/f trophy multi-tenanted office complex, located at I-95's exit 7 adjacent to the Stamford Transportation Center which has completed a $95 million enhancement program.
W&M Properties is the real estate management, marketing and acquisition arm of the Malkin family, which has commercial and residential operations in seven states.
