Nohrden of Burgess and Corkery of CBRE broker $3.675 million sale

Chelsea, MA Burgess Properties Inc. has brokered the $3.675 million sale of 200 Second St. with David Corkery and Bruce Lusa of CBRE New England.

200 Second St. is a 25,500 s/f industrial building on 1.05 acres across the street from Mystic Mall. The existing building will be demolished to make way for the construction of a 106 room Hampton Inn by Hilton.

Steve Nohrden of Burgess Properties represented the buyer, Baywood Hotels Inc., and Corkery of CBRE/NE represented the seller, 200 Second Street Trust.

The buyer is one of the nation’s fastest growing and privately-owned hotel management companies. 

They are also one of largest privately owned developers in the country for Hilton, and several of their Hampton Inns have received achievement awards and national recognition.
