North Branch Construction, Inc. has completed construction of a new DPW building for the town. North Branch was the design/build contractor for this new 9, 984 s/f $1.2 million facility, which replaced an existing 44-year old 2,900 s/f highway garage.
Construction began in late May with the demolition of the existing facility.
The new wood framed building features 7 bays (including a wash bay), office space, a break room, a locker room, a cistern and sprinkler system. Construction was completed in mid October two and a half weeks ahead of the contract schedule.
TF Moran, Inc. teamed with North Branch providing civil, structural and architectural engineering.
