North Branch Construction continues fire reconstruction at Dartmouth College

Morton Hall at Dartmouth College - Hanover, NH

Hanover, NH North Branch Construction of Concord continues work on the fast-track total gut renovation of Morton Hall at Dartmouth College. Following a four-alarm fire that occurred at the dormitory in October 2016, North Branch was hired to perform the extensive reconstruction of the building based on their experience with disaster recovery.

The college will be taking this opportunity to incorporate a new layout into the dormitory, increasing the number of beds and installing an elevator.

Work on the roof along with mold and asbestos abatement was underway and expected to continue through the end of February. The project is expected to be completed by late summer.

Harriman Associates of Portland, ME, is providing design for the project.
