Steel erection for the new Stonyfield Farm plant office is well underway by construction manager, North Branch Construction, Inc. The new two-story, steel framed, 33,000 s/f building located on Burton Dr. will include metal siding and be built for sustainability. The environmentally friendly facility will feature daylight harvesting, sunshades, solar hot water panels, energy efficient lighting and lighting controls, and include cafeteria, locker room and office space. Construction began in early September with foundations underway in October. Structural steel erection began November 12th. The project will be completed in the summer of 2008. Architerra, Inc. of Boston provided the design for the new building.

In early 2008, in conjunction with their 50th anniversary, North Branch Const. (one of the largest construction firms in the State of New Hampshire) will be moving to their new corporate headquarters at 76 Old Turnpike Rd., Concord. In addition to the Stonyfield Farm project, North Branch's current projects include the new $6.9 million Londonderry Bus Terminal, Maintenance and Storage Buildings for the NHDOT Bureau of Public Works in Londonderry; 15,000 s/f, Exeter Hospital's Exeter Healthreach Dental Clinic in Exeter; and the $2.7 million Dartmouth College Burnham soccer field facility in Hanover. Recently completed projects include the $4.6 million Brown School Apartments in Manchester; $5.1 million Squamscott Block (housing/retail) in Exeter, and the new $1.4 million Mont Vernon Fire Station in Mont Vernon.
