O'Brien Commercial Properties completes two leases - 13,722 s/f

BLW Engineering secured a long term lease for 3,222 s/f of class A office space at 40 Shattuck Rd. The company, which is headquartered in Littleton, specializes in a variety of engineering services which includes mechanical, electrical, fire protection and plumbing. The additional space is needed to accommodate their fast-growing, Andover division. O'Brien Commercial Properties, Inc. represented the tenant, while the landlord, Boston Properties, was represented by Transwestern/RBJ. Also, Smartfish Group, a full service marketing agency, has leased 10,500 s/f of additional office and warehouse space at 289 Elm St. in Marlborough, Mass., from landlord, Antico Real Estate, LLC. Smartfish Group was growing out of their current headquarters at the Marlborough Technology Center and with the improving economy there was no available space there to be had. O'Brien Commercial Properties brokered the sale of 289 Elm St. to Antico Real Estate last year and represented Smartfish Group in this lease. O'Brien Commercial is also handling the disposition of their current space.
