O'Brien of Greater Boston Commercial Properties, Inc. handles 16,412 s/f lease

Greater Boston Commercial Properties, Inc. represented its client ProVerde Laboratories, Inc. in leasing 16,412 s/f of lab space at 420 Fortune Blvd. The space that was formerly occupied by Thermo Fisher will be retrofitted by to ProVerde's specifications by the landlord Milford Fenwall Realty, LLC (Fafard Real Estate). The space will offer ProVerde a laboratory space fully equipped with fume hoods, lab benches, sinks and other specialty features. Bret O'Brien of Greater Boston Commercial Properties was the sole broker of record in the transaction and began representing ProVerde in January of 2013. O'Brien spent the subsequent year working with ProVerde to explore all of the potential locations along Rte. 495 between Hopkinton and Foxborough. Dorian Des Lauriers, founder and President of the company, ultimately selected 420 Fortune Blvd. because the landlord was able to offer the best "turnkey" deal on a first class facility that was unparalleled at any other location. ProVerde Laboratories, Inc. is a Massachusetts based laboratory offering analytical testing and consulting services for a wide variety of market segments. Chris Hudalla the chief scientist for ProVerde Labs is recognized worldwide as an expert in the field of Supercritical Fluid and Convergence Chromatography (SFC and CC) and is considered to be the leader in UltraPerformance Convergence Chromatography (UPC2) instrumentation. The company will offer its services for testing active ingredients in consumables including food products and for the pharmaceutical industry. Proverde looks to expand into all markets where there is importance in providing accurate data detailing the products composition. ProVerde is positioned ideally for Massachusetts newest industry, medical marijuana, as the state law requires dispensaries provide testing results for samples of their inventory. ProVerde can provide detailed reports categorizing the quantities of all major active ingredients in marijuana with the type of pinpoint precision that has never before been available.
