O’Hara of Coldwell Banker Commercial reps UI in $6.6m sale
Shelton, CT Chris O’Hara, senior vice president of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT (CBC) represented The United Illuminating Co. (UI) in the $6.6 million sale of 801 Bridgeport Ave. The property consisted of 104,000 s/f of office/warehouse and vehicle maintenance facilities.
To achieve the property’s highest and best use for UI, CBC positioned the property for conversion from industrial to retail. The buyer, Fountain Square LLC, received approval from the city to develop the site into a 125,000 s/f nine-building complex, consisting of a 123-room hotel, office building, restaurants, retail stores, pharmacy, bank and coffee shop.
