Steve Pappas of the Hartford office of Chozick Realty, Inc. has arranged the sale of Campus View Apartments, located at 1300-1412 East St. The sale price was $4.725 million. Campus View Apartments is a 63-unit student apartment complex located at the entrance to Central Connecticut State University.
The property was constructed in 1970 and was substantially updated and remodeled approximately 12 years ago. At that time, the resident population was shifted to student oriented residences with roommate privacy dividers added to bedrooms, washer/dryers installed in each apartment and high speed Internet and cable television included in the rental structure.
The location, adjacent to the entrance of Central Connecticut State University is within walking distance to academic buildings, making the property ideal for students and has served to keep the property in high rental demand. "With virtually all apartments being two bedroom and the location directly adjacent to the University, Campus View is extremely well suited to the student market," said Pappas, the listing and selling broker.
Chozick Realty marketed the property on behalf of Campus View Apartments LLC and procured the purchaser, Trinity Property Group LLC.
