Payne and Wrinn of Goodfellow Ashmore close 30,000 s/f lease

Goodfellow Ashmore CORFAC International in Danbury has closed a 30,000 s/f, five-year leasing contract. The firm's president and owner, Todd Payne, SIOR, and Joseph Wrinn, SIOR, vice president, stated that New England Home Delivery will occupy the warehouse space at 6B-6C Research Dr. in the Berkshire Corporate Park for five years. Payne said, "Berkshire Corporate Park is the ideal location for New England Home Delivery because of its convenient access to I-84, Rte. 7 and to Rte. 6." Goodfellow Ashmore CORFAC's Payne and Wrinn represented the landlord, Berkshire Corporate Park; Jeff Ryer, SIOR, president of Ryer Associates, and Alan Bolduc, SIOR of Commercial Acquisition Services, LLC, represented the tenant, New England Home Delivery, Inc.
Berkshire Corporate Park, owned and operated by the Steiner family for over four decades, was designed in the Swiss tradition of smart building through land preservation. It offers over one million s/f of space on 300 park-like acres. The park spans the towns of Danbury, Bethel and Brookfield.
New England Home Delivery, Inc., headquartered in Wilmington, Mass., provides commercial and residential deliveries throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, New York and Vermont. Founded in 1993 by Bob Curry, sales for the first year were just under $100,000 and by 2000 had risen to $1.5 million. Since 2005, New England Delivery's operations provide Home and White Glove Deliveries that include curb side deliveries for Home Depot.
During recent years, the company grew through contracts with Waste Management and Allied Waste, and over one dozen cities throughout New England. Services today include rush and regular delivery, scheduled delivery, air freight, distribution services, leased driver and vehicle services, trade shows and conventions.
