Littleton, NH Two international and well known companies based in Littleton have expanded their footprint with the recent sale of the Tender Corp. building to Appalachian Stitching.

Tender Corp., makers of AfterBite, Ben’s 100 and  Adventure Medical Kits, was founded in 1973 by the Grout family of Littleton. They have grown internationally and diversified with a number of new products over the years and with their expansion, have almost completed construction on a new 120,000 s/f facility in the Littleton Industrial Park.  With this expansion, they have sold their existing building on Burndy Rd. in the park to Manning-Elkins Realty Corp., an affiliate company to Appalachian Stitching.

Appalachian Stitching has grown in the last decade, from the manufacturing and producer of highly crafted sewn products primarily composed of leather and simulated leather, to on site installation of custom leather applications like wall panels. This expansion from their current location on Badger St. in town, to the Littleton Industrial Park will further help them to expand into the global marketplace and provide more job opportunities in the area.

Scott Manning, president of Appalachian Stitching said, “We’ve been ready to expand for a number of years, and when this building came on the market, we knew it would be just the right space for us and our expansion needs. We are pleased to continue to be part of the greater Littleton economic community.”

Jason Cartwright, CEO of Tender Corp. said, “Our expansion and new building has been in the works for a number of years and we are pleased to see our vision become reality. This expansion will enable us to create more jobs for the area, and we are pleased to welcome Appalachian Stitching to the Littleton Industrial Park as our new neighbors.”

Andy Smith and Mary Doherty of Peabody & Smith Realty represented the buyers, and Jim DeStefano of Colliers International represented Tender Corp.
