Perkins Eastman's local office has moved to a new space at 50 Franklin St. Established in 2008, the office has relocated to a new larger space to accommodate recent growth. The new office occupies space on the top floor of a traditional four-story stone-clad building in Downtown Crossing.
Having doubled in size this year, the office is working on a recently awarded public middle school, a new 100-bed student residence with a green-roofed quad over underground parking, a 250-unit market rate housing development, and a number of senior living master plans and feasibility studies. They are also in the preliminary project development stage of a mixed-use transit-oriented development project comprising 400 structured parking spaces over the T-line with retail and housing.
Managing principal John Pears RIBA said, "We are excited to continue Perkins Eastman's growth in the Boston area."
