Prengaman of Vision 3 elected to RI Board of Examination and Registration of Architects

David Prengaman, AIA, LEED AP was elected as the new vice chairman of the Rhode Island Board of Examination and Registration of Architects. Prengaman is a principal at Vision 3 Architects, an award-winning architecture and interiors firm founded in 1987. During his 23 years in practice, Prengaman has designed, planned, and managed large-scale office, healthcare, commercial, residential, and institutional projects. Prengaman served as president of the American Institute of Architects' Rhode Island chapter in 1997 and was elected to their board of directors in 2007. He has served on the board of directors and committees for several local non-profit organizations, including St. Mary Academy-Bay View, East Bay Mental Health Center, and the Diocese of Providence. Prengaman received Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The RI Board of Examination and Registration of Architects is one of four boards in the Division of Design Professionals within the Department of Business Regulation. This division regulates the registration of design firms and professionals. Its mission is to protect the public health, safety and welfare by registering qualified individuals and firms who provide services to consumers. The Boards of Registration provide fair and consistent enforcement of their underlying statutes and regulations. Vision 3 Architects is a 30-person architectural and interior design firm located in Providence, RI that offers creative design solutions to corporate office, education, and hospitality clients.
