President's message: It has been an honor to serve ASM

It has been a great honor and pleasure to serve as your president for the past two years. We have celebrated significant legislative victories, including Massachusetts' new "Prompt Pay" law and remained strong as an organization. Many ASM members have experienced difficult challenges over the past two years, yet we all share a common bond that epitomizes the resolve and perseverance of subcontractors across Massachusetts. In short, we have emerged optimistic about what the future holds in store for all of us. Progress can be seen in many corners of the construction industry and within our own organization. ASM's Biennial Dinner Gala in the all new "Art of the Americas Wing" at the MFA offers members an opportunity to enjoy an evening of elegance and artistry while showcasing the craftsmanship of many ASM members. The association has added a new marketing and communications manager to promote the countless benefits of membership and to act as your liaison to the organization. Thank you for this incredible opportunity to serve as your president and I look forward to seeing you on April 5 at the MFA to celebrate the past two years and to welcome new president, David Cannistraro and the new board of directors. Sara Stafford is the president of the Associated Subcontractors of Mass., Boston and is the president and owner of Stafford Construction Services, Saugus.
