President's message: Transition year at IFMA Boston

As of July 1, 2008, IFMA Boston bids a fond farewell to Sean Murphy, Liberty Mutual Group, who leaves the President's role with the Boston chapter stronger than ever. Thanks to Sean for his leadership, camaraderie, and most importantly, his friendship to all. Sean is now Past-President, and continues as a chapter leader in this position for the next 2 years.

I am fortunate to feel so welcome as the new chapter President, and to have such a vibrant and active group to lead. With more than 800 members, we have a lot of momentum are planning another exciting year of education, programs, and social events. Welcome to new Board members Joe Flynn, Margulies, and Ed Sullivan, Polaroid Corporation.
Joe assumes the position of VP of Activities and will be responsible for monthly programs, local networks, and the Holiday Gala—mark your calendars now for Thursday, December 4. Ed is VP of Education and will be responsible for leading our professional development efforts.
