What is your favorite / most beneficial part of Women in Construction week? My favorite part of Women in Construction week is how it brings attention to all the achievements women in the AEC industry have made. Women play such an important and valuable role in this industry that deserves to be recognized. Showcasing all the accomplishments and achievements of women in the industry can also help inspire and encourage younger generations of women to set goals for their careers.

Who or what inspired you to join the AEC industry? I was inspired to join the AEC industry by the example of my grandfather who was a civil engineer for many years. His influence led me to take engineering and architecture courses in high school. It was during this time that I was drawn to the architecture field and decided to pursue a degree in architecture.
