What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? The project I’m incredibly proud of is organizing a fund raiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation with my family. The Saint Rocco Society, that we are a part of, hosts a banquet every year bringing many people together to raise funds and awareness to help grant life-changing wishes to children facing critical illnesses. Seeing how it uplifted not just the children but also everyone involved remains one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Who or what has inspired you most in your career, and what advice would you share with the next generation of women entering the A/E/C industry? Kayla Nassar, CEO of AMCON, said something on The Mozzachio List podcast that really stuck with me: women are basically the CEOs of their households. Managing calendars, budgeting, problem-solving, and keeping everything running smoothly – it’s all the same skills a CEO uses every day. It’s proof that those abilities naturally translate into leadership. My advice to women starting out in the industry would be, own your path, trust your skills, and step into your power!
What’s your favorite way to recharge or get inspired outside of work? My friends recharge me with laughs, new experiences, and great food – perfect for hitting reset!
