PROCON nears completion of 79,000 s/f Staybridge Suites/Holiday Inn Express in Revere, MA

Staybridge Suites/Holiday Inn Express - 245 Revere Beach Parkway - Revere, MA

Revere, MA PROCON is in the last stretch of work on a 79,350 s/f Staybridge Suites/Holiday Inn Express dual-branded hotel at 245 Revere Beach Pkwy. Long term partners XSS Hotels and PROCON teamed up again as the developer, architect, and construction manager, respectively. Colwen Hotel Management is providing comprehensive management services. The new hotel is two minutes from the beach, 3.2 miles from Boston-Logan International Airport, and less than 10 minutes from Boston.

The hotel blends comfort and affordability in 152 deluxe rooms with ocean views from the top floors. The Staybridge Suites targets long term guests with 72 extended-stay king and double-queen studios offering fully-equipped kitchens featuring a cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, and a refrigerator. The 80-room Holiday Inn Express provides king and double-queen studios for guests seeking shorter stays. Both brands share amenities.

The first floor features a lobby and reception, a lounge/bar area with seating, a fitness center, 24/7 market place, guest laundry facilities, and a 24-hour office zone. There are two meeting rooms, a board room, and a pre-function area. Additional amenities include onsite parking, a car charging station, and airport shuttle services to and from Logan Airport.

Work began on the 5-story building in November 2018. The Staybridge Suites/Holiday Inn Express will be the 5th dual-branded hotel by XSS Hotels and PROCON in the Greater Boston area. In recent years, the two companies have partnered on dual-branded hotels in Chelsea, Quincy, and Waltham, with another currently underway at Station Landing in Medford, Mass.

XSS Hotels’ principal partners Leo Xarras and Mark Stebbins said, “This brand choice provides more hotel rooms in urban areas, while still offering the extended-stay room experience for guests of the Staybridge Suites.”
