Stamford, CT Pyramid Real Estate Group, property management and commercial property brokerage real estate firm, has added two staff members with extensive experience in the industry.

Westport resident Andy Ayala is a new commercial brokerage sales associate manager who also will be helping the firm as a senior asset manager. Ayala formally was a senior vice president with Related Management Co., as well as on the staff of GE Real Estate from 1996 to 2013.

Christopher Grundy, who has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Yale University and a master’s degree from Indiana University, is a new commercial broker who recently moved from New Haven to Stamford. Prior to coming to Pyramid, Grundy was a commercial sales and leasing associate with Farnam Realty Group in New Haven. In his one year as a broker he has sold a portfolio of mixed-use properties, as well as helped clients lease property. Grundy, who has experience as a helicopter pilot, speaks Russian and German.

Besides taking advantage of his language skills, Pyramid expects that Grundy can use his mechanical engineering training to aid landlords, and his former career as a helicopter pilot may help with property tours.
