Peter Quinn, Quinn Associates and Ed Jarosz, CBRE-NE recently handled a 78,000 s/f lease at 560 Oak St. Jarosz represented the building owner, Equity Industrial Partners Corp., and Quinn represented the tenant, Apex Xpress, Inc.
Apex Trucking Co. Inc. was started in 1934 by James Cerchione who ran the trucking company out of New York City. They have since expanded over time to a number of locations with headquarters in New Jersey. Apex is made up of two divisions: The electronics division makes deliveries from Washington, DC to Me. The other division, a realty division, delivers store replenishments at malls from Washington DC to N.H.
The president of Apex chose the site because of the access to Rte. 24, the number of tailboard facilities and the large fenced in yard for storage of their trucks. They look forward to expanding their business in the area and expanding within the building over time.
