
Boston, MA The Real Estate & Finance Association (RE&FA) is excited to kick off this year under the leadership of John Roach, managing director at Berkshire Residential Investments, as RE&FA’s 2026 president. Roach will be joined by our president-elect, Martha Nay at Eaton Vance Real Estate Investment Group, and treasurer, Bill Foley at Webster Bank, along with an incredibly talented board of directors.
Together, they will continue to advance RE&FA’s mission in delivering best-in-class events, education, networking, and advocacy, keeping RE&FA At the Center of It All.
Programming
RE&FA hosted its annual Forecasting Luncheon on January 21st at WilmerHale, 60 State St., bringing together commercial real estate leaders for a timely discussion on current market conditions and the outlook ahead.
The program opened with a market overview from Abby Corbett, CRE, global head of investor insights and senior economist at Cushman & Wakefield, who shared key insights on 2025 trends and projections for 2026.
The discussion continued with a panel moderated by Amy Lousararian, managing director, Capital Markets at JLL, featuring William Berger, managing director at Rialto Capital; Robert Brown, executive vice president at Brookline Bank, a division of Beacon Bank & Trust; Matthew Godoff, executive vice president and head of investments at Synergy; and Keith Largay, head of capital markets at Bain Capital Real Estate. Panelists explored investment strategies, capital markets activity, and opportunities across the commercial real estate landscape.
