Region Commercial arranges 29,700 s/f
lease and $830,000 sale

155 Industrial Drive - Northhampton, MA

Northampton, MA Region Commercial Real Estate has completed the lease of the property located at 155 Industrial Dr. The lease to Elateq Inc. includes the 29,700 s/f industrial/warehouse building, situated on 2.39 acres. Region Commercial represented the landlord in the transaction and sourced the tenant.

“Elateq’s growing business is a welcome addition to the park,” said Mitch Bolotin, a broker with Region Commercial. “The building and I-91 location were a great match for Elateq’s needs and we look forward to seeing this promising young company continue to grow in Northampton.”

The building, located in the Northampton Industrial Park, is in a prime location adjacent to I-91 and is an ideal asset for any warehousing/distribution businesses relying on strong recruiting possibilities and access to the nearby transit options. Several national corporations are located in immediate proximity, including Coca-Cola, Saint-Gobain, and numerous local warehousing/manufacturing companies.

South Acton Congregational Church, 29-35 School Street - Acton, MA

Region Commercial Real Estate also completed the sale of the South Acton Congregational Church property, located at 29-35 School St. in Acton, Mass., for $830,000. The 7,101 s/f property was purchased by an entity interested in re-developing the church into multi-unit housing.

This historic building, long a fixture in the neighborhood, offers a blend of architectural charm and functional space. Positioned in an accessible location, the building is a four-minute walk to the commuter rail station and close to Rte. 2, offering access to surrounding towns.

“We’re happy the church and its trustees were able to successfully transition ownership to a new entity that will carry on the stewardship of the building,” said Ben Bolotin, a broker with Region Commercial. “The church’s historic designation, in coordination with the town, will preserve its familiarity to nearby residents, while hopefully serving as a welcome and needed housing option for the community in the future.”

Region Commercial Real Estate represented South Acton Congregational Church in this transaction. Century 21 Northeast represented the Buyer.
