Region Commercial secures new leasing and ownership at Yankee Village Plaza

Westfield, MA Yankee Village Plaza, a local shopping center, is beginning a new chapter under the ownership of Jason and Diana Eisenbeiser. The couple purchased the property back in November 2024, and since then have been making improvements to the retail center including new exterior touch ups, signage, and leasing taking place.

The Eisenbeisers, owners of 76 Discount Liquors, have been tenants at the property for many years and purchased the property from the previous owner when it became available. Other long-standing tenants include the Yankee Village Restaurant, Bella Rome Pizzeria, Fanny’s VIP Nails, and Salon West. The new owners have made many improvements to the property in their first year of ownership.

In addition to current tenants, ownership, in partnership with Region Commercial Real Estate, is working on welcoming new tenants to the plaza. Saribel Nunez, owner of Canine Booth Dog Grooming, is planning to open her new storefront in the coming months.

“We are quite excited about the purchase of this property.” said Jason, “This location is on a well-traveled road, and the neighborhood is exceptional. Over the past seven years, our business, 76 Liquors, has grown significantly here, and when the opportunity to purchase the plaza came up, we jumped at it. Investing in the property has been an easy decision, knowing we’re committed long-term to the plaza and city.”

“In the last 9-months, we have a new upgraded gas service, fresh paint, better lighting and signage opportunities with other projects planned. We’ve also prepped the tree belt to be redone in conjunction with the improvements the City of Westfield is making to the Route 202 corridor.”

“We’re pretty excited to be opening our first location at the plaza!” said Saribel. “Our plan is to open in January, though that may shift slightly. Ownership has been easygoing and great to work with.” Nunez also described her plans for the new business. “I’m bringing a dog grooming salon that offers a calm, one-on-one experience to help lessen the stress that often comes with grooming. We also plan to offer a selection of retail items, including merchandise, dog treats from local makers, and more. Eventually, I’d love to add my own line of pet accessories such as collars and leashes.”

With excellent visibility, traffic counts, and lots of on-site parking, ownership is looking forward to welcoming future local small businesses to the property.

“Jason and Diana have immediately started investing in the plaza, working to make the center a welcoming and lively place for tenants and customers,” said Ben Bolotin of Region Commercial. “We’re really impressed with their initiative, and it’s making conversations with new tenants, like Saribel, all the more positive. Smart improvements like the ones they’re making go a long way and its terrific to see.”
