Related Beal completes 40,000 s/f lease to AI Proteins at One Kenmore Sq.

Boston, MA Related Beal has completed a 40,000 s/f lease with AI Proteins at its One Kenmore Square development. The biotechnology company will occupy office and lab space at the Beacon Building located at 660 Commonwealth Ave. 

AI Proteins is a leading protein-based medicine and therapeutic company, leveraging synthetic biology, robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence to rapidly design, build, and develop mini protein medicines from scratch. The Kenmore Square location will serve as the company’s new headquarters.

We look forward to supporting AI Proteins and enhancing the tenant mix to further strengthen Boston’s biotech ecosystem.”

Located in the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood of the city, One Kenmore Square is a two-building, 471,000 s/f lab, office, and retail development near Fenway Park and marked by the iconic Citgo sign. The development consists of the Commonwealth Building, fully leased to WHOOP, and the Beacon Building, offering adaptable lab and workspace with access to retail amenities, and direct MBTA transit connections. The development includes a fitness center, locker rooms, bicycle storage, Charles River views, a rooftop terrace, and a hospitality-focused lobby.
