Middleton, MA ReVision Energy has opened its first branch office in Massachusetts, located at 35 Village Rd. The solar energy contracting company also operates in four locations across New Hampshire and Maine.

The expansion highlights the growth of the clean energy sector and accompanying job opportunities in solar-friendly states. ReVision Energy is a mission-based company, intent on reducing fossil fuel use. Today’s announcement furthers its goal of accelerating the transition toward clean, renewable solar energy.

The company is a Certified B Corp., using business as a force for good. ReVision Energy is one of only 39 Massachusetts companies to earn the designation. B Corps. or Benefit Corps. are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

ReVision Energy general manager Dan Clapp says the company’s mission and values are integral to its business model. “We are solely focused on customer service and technical excellence. We feel strongly that the transition to renewable energy needs a holistic, whole-house approach, offering a solar electricity, solar thermal, and heating and cooling package. We look forward to bringing our highly-focused design and installation experts, each having an equity stake in the company, to the residents of Massachusetts.”

ReVision Energy was founded 13 years ago and currently employs more than 130 people across three states. Over time, the utility cost of services has continued to increase while the cost of solar modules has decreased, driving consumer demand for renewable energy. In addition to solar electricity, heat pump and battery technologies have improved, allowing ReVision to design and install combination systems that leverage the economics for the customer and provide greater energy security.

ReVision Energy is New England’s local solar professional, with more than 6,000 installations since 2003.
