Ria McNamara leases 10,000 s/f to Destination XL at Sherwood Plaza
Sherwood Plaza has executed a lease with Destination XL, a division of Casual Male from Canton. The new flagship store will occupy a little over 10,000 s/f at Sherwood Plaza on Rte 9. The project will include a new façade and storefront to enhance the overall effect of this new anchor store.

"The Loehmann's store has had several inquiries, but we have not connected with the ideal tenant yet," said McNamara.
Sherwood Plaza will begin a re-development of the former BJ's headquarters. The BJ's headquarters was originally built in 1959 when the center was first developed. Never before has this key piece of real estate been available. BJ's moved to Westborough in January of this year to a much larger facility.

Now what? As the year comes to a close, the state of retail is always in the news. The answers vary greatly depending on who in the various related industries you ask, each offering a unique lens on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
