Mayor Dannel Malloy and Senator Andrew McDonald joined project developers Seth Weinstein, principal of Hannah Real Estate Investors, Ray Kinol of Stillwater Investment Management, and Steven Wise of Summer Partners at a ribbon cutting ceremony for The Metropolitan, 1515 Summer St. The Metropolitan, Stamford's first luxury loft condominium development, has captured the interest of Stamford buyers seeking a truly unique, sophisticated, urban living experience.
The building represents a first of its kind conversion of a 66,000 s/f office building in Stamford. The Metropolitan's soft gray stucco, natural copper, and stainless steel façade opens to a modern lobby. The 39 luxury condominium residences astound with 10-11 ft. ceilings, expansive windows, and sleek interiors. Penthouse units offer large private terraces and panoramic views. All residents enjoy the lifestyle enhancing amenities of a building concierge, private fitness center, a temperature-controlled wine storage facility, and a club room with flat screen television.
Construction financing has been provided by Citizens Bank of Connecticut.
