River Run appoints Bronkella senior vice president

Haverhill, MA River Run Bancorp has appointed Adam Bronkella as senior vice president, commercial loan administration manager. Based at the organization’s Harbor Place offices located at Two Merrimack St., Bronkella will oversee the commercial loan administration team and manage the full workflow of commercial and commercial real estate lending from origination through servicing.

“Commercial loan administration is where the details matter most: compliance, documentation, servicing, making sure every loan is structured and maintained the way it should be throughout its entire life cycle,” said Michael Bonsey, EVP, chief credit risk officer at River Run. 

“That operational discipline is what Adam brings to this role, and we’re proud he will be building it out here at River Run.”

Adam brings more than 25 years of commercial banking experience to the role. In his new position, he will manage a broad range of functions including regulatory compliance, loan closing, and ongoing servicing and maintenance of commercial loan portfolios. He is also responsible for establishing the standards that guide the Loan Administration staff in delivering consistent, compliant, and customer-focused service in accordance with bank and regulatory requirements. 

“I’ve spent my career building the kind of operational infrastructure that allows commercial lending teams to serve clients well and remain in strong standing with regulators,” said Bronkella. “I’m looking forward to bringing that experience to River Run and contributing to what the team is building here.”

Adam is an active community volunteer with a particular interest in supporting local and outdoor-focused initiatives. He resides in Hudson and enjoys spending time outdoors, including camping, hiking, and cycling.
