Rivian celebrates grand opening at Legacy Place

Dedham, MA Rivian the American automotive and technology company, celebrated the grand opening of its new location at Legacy Place on August 15. The opening marked Rivian’s fourth Massachusetts location and brings its interactive retail and community-focused showroom model to Legacy Place.

Rivian’s new Legacy Place location features a distinct, interactive experience where visitors can learn about the brand and its vehicles independently or with guidance from Rivian team members. Designed to be family- and dog-friendly, the space will also host live music and community programming throughout the year.

“Rivian is a unique addition to Legacy Place, bringing an entirely different type of retail experience to the property,” said Naomi Ehrens, general manager of Legacy Place. “Its innovative showroom concept and focus on community make it a natural fit for Legacy Place, while adding a new category to our thoughtfully curated mix of retail, dining, entertainment and wellness offerings.”

The opening also reflects Legacy Place’s continued evolution as the leading retail and lifestyle destination in Greater Boston, bringing together brands, amenities and experiences that serve the community. As more consumers consider electric vehicles, Rivian broadens the types of businesses available to guests. Available to the public in 2027, Legacy Place’s EV charging stations will support the growing number of guests driving electric vehicles while complementing Rivian’s arrival at the property.
