Barrington, RI Residential Properties Ltd (RPL) has completed the sale of 60 Adams Point, which recently sold for $1.097 million. The home was listed by sales associate Anna Clancy, a member of RPL’s local office, while the buyers were represented by Team Applegate, who work out of RPL’s Providence office.

According to MLS, RPL has now listed 12 of the 22 Barrington homes to sell for over $1 million this year.

Known as “Winds Will,” this wood-shingled home represents part of the town’s history. Built on the foundation of the Adams’ home, one of the oldest in town, this classic colonial sits on just under two landscaped acres with views of the Warren River.

The formal living room with a wood-burning fireplace is surrounded by paneling from the original Adams’ home and built-in bookcases. The formal dining room has lovely views of the gardens and patio. The spacious kitchen was entirely remodeled in 2016 and features an oversized center island with a ribbon Sapele wood top, custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances.

A center staircase leads to the second floor where you will find the primary bedroom boasting a private deck and ensuite bath. At the opposite end of the home is another large suite of rooms with a wood-burning fireplace, full bath, and closets. Two more large bedrooms and a third full bath are also on the second floor, while the third level is currently used as a fifth bedroom and rec area.

Sales associate Clancy has exceeded the expectations of her clients in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts for over 20 years. She draws on her years of experience in real estate development and finance, as well as her extensive local knowledge while serving her clients. A local resident since 1995, she has lived and worked in many places, but she can't imagine living anywhere else.

Team Applegate is a collaboration of Holly Applegate, Bill Applegate, and Brecken Applegate Schneider. Holly was the manager of the Cumberland Office of RPL for 24 years. She decided to step down as manager in 2019 to embark on this new partnership in real estate with her husband and daughter.

With Holly's experience in real estate, Bill's years in high tech and real estate marketing, and Brecken's 11 years in the insurance business, they feel their close personal relationship will enable them to work well together. This closeness allowed them to earn a 2019 Circle of Sales Excellence Silver Award.
