According to Albert B. Ashforth, Inc. - Management Services, Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. recently signed a lease for 3,800 s/f at Plaza West, a 90,000 s/f office facility located at 100 Mill Plain Rd. Oppenheimer is relocating from downtown Danbury and is scheduled to occupy the space mid December.
Plaza West is located on Rte. 6 at Exit 2 off I-84. Lemle Danbury, LLC purchased the Class A building in mid 2005 and is now in the final phase of its capital improvement program. Restrooms will be renovated to include new fixtures, countertops, wall finishes and ceiling, and new lighting. In addition the building's main lobby is being upgraded, including a new flat panel television, which will display a news service by Captivate, along with new plants, artwork and seating.
Jeff Montville, Oppenheimer's branch manager said, "We are expanding so we can continue to provide our clients with a first class office environment, which Plaza West provides. We love the location of the building for our employees and customers, being so close to I-84 and the Danbury Fair Mall." Executive vice president, Bob Neuhoff, added, "This new office will be state of the art which allows our staff to offer the most up-to-date technology on the market. We are thrilled be moving to 100 Mill Plain Rd."
