Richard Samberg of King & Newton, LLC Commercial Real Estate negotiated the $1.4 million sale of a 13,700 s/f retail strip center located at 78 Franklin St. in the center of Westfield on U.S. Rte. 20. The seller was Plaza Mall Associates, and the buyer is Briarwood Eleven, LLC.
The property consists of one masonry neighborhood strip center designed for six tenants. The property was fully leased at time of sale.
In another transaction, Marty Kane and Richard Samberg of King & Newton, LLC negotiated the $625,000 ($52,000 per unit) sale of a 12-unit apartment building. The four-story brick building is located on 196-198 Bowdoin St., Springfield.
The seller was the Estate of Gary Lewis, and the buyer is Bernard Welch, Jr.
