According to Stephen Press, SIOR, principal of Press/Cuozzo Commercial Services, senior advisor Albert Scafati has leased 17,608 s/f at 73 Defco Park Rd. to KVT- Koenig, LLC on a long-term basis. The company will occupy 12,200 s/f of warehouse and 5,408 s/f of office at the sales/distribution building.
KVT-Koenig LLC is the company created by the recent merger of Farmington Engineering and Sherex Industries. These companies had been the top U.S. suppliers of sealing plugs and flow control devices for more than 30 years, and are now combined under the Swiss-based KVT Group. They brought together their experience, expertise, innovation, and product lines to provide North America with the best possible sealing and flow control solutions.
Previously based in Madison, 73 Defco Park Rd. will serve as the company's new U.S.A. location. KVT-Koenig has locations in Switzerland, Austria, Czechia, Germany and Poland.
Scafati represented the landlord, MADMAT Properties, LLC, while Steven Inglese of The New Haven Group represented the tenant.
