Schlorholtz of Boston Private Bank & Trust receives NEWIRE award

Esther Schlorholtz, director of community investment and senior vice president, Boston Private Bank & Trust, was recently awarded the New England Women in Real Estate (NEWIRE) "Suzanne King Public Service" award at the organization's annual achievement awards dinner at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel. The award is given each year to a NEWIRE member who embodies the spirit and principles of NEWIRE on a personal level. Schlorholtz was recognized for her work at Boston Private Bank with the public and non-profit sectors. Schlorholtz is responsible for implementing and managing the bank's community investment programs focusing on meeting the banking needs of individuals, businesses, government entities and non-profit organizations in the Greater Boston area. The Bank is rated "Outstanding" for its Community Reinvestment Act performance by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Massachusetts Division of Banks, and actively finances home mortgages, affordable housing, economic development initiatives. small businesses and social services.
