Shanley Auctioneers facilitates $852,500 sale of Mojalaki Golf Club

Mojalaki Golf Club has been sold at auction by Shanley Auctioneers LLC of Portsmouth. Mojalaki Golf Club which overlooks Mt. Kearsarge was designed by Wayne Stiles.It had been updated in 2002 and includes a par (36) 9-hole golf course, a 5-hole short course, a driving range, a 3,000 s/f practice putting green and a chipping area. The total acquisition price for the property was $852,500. The seller, Tin Cup Golf LLC, was represented by Joe Shanley of Shanley Real Estate. The new owner is Roger Leblanc a retired executive from Weare. According to Shanley who conducted the auction "the interest in the property was high and the bidding was spirited". LeBlanc has stated his intention to continue the property as a golf club and function facility. Scott Roberts Esq. of the law firm Hoefle, Phoenix, Gormley and Roberts of Portsmouth represented the interests of the Seller, with Steve Seufert Esq. of Franklin NH providing counsel for the Buyer.
