Shawmut Design and Construction appoints Moschella project manager

Shawmut Design and Construction, located at 560 Harrison Ave., has hired Marc Moschella as project manger for the company's academic and institutional clients. Moschella, who brings more than 15 years of experience in the local marketplace to his new position at Shawmut, will be responsible for the daily oversight of Shawmut's field and office teams, as well as managing the pre-construction and construction phases on academic and institutional projects. "We are thrilled to have Marc on board as a project manager," said Kevin Sullivan, vice president at Shawmut. "His experience and leadership will be invaluable to our team as we continue to grow." Moschella, who joins Shawmut after working with J.M. Coull, Inc., has extensive experience in managing complex academic, manufacturing and life science projects including schools, cleanroom and laboratory projects, corporate office buildings, and manufacturing operations. Moschella holds a B.S. in construction management from Fitchburg State University. Shawmut is a national construction management firm that builds exciting projects for distinguished clients.
