Shawmut Design and Construction exceeds $2 million lifetime fundraising with $100,000+ raised for 2025 Pan-Mass Challenge

Shawmut Design and Construction, a leading national construction management firm, participated this past weekend in its 18th consecutive Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) and raised more than $100,000 to bring its lifetime fundraising total to more than $2 million for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Team Shawmut — which includes CEO Les Hiscoe and more than 20 Shawmut employee-owners, relatives and friends — rode alongside 6,000 other participants in the two-day bike-a-thon Aug. 2-3 to increase awareness and raise funds for cancer research and patient care. The cyclists covered routes ranging from 25 to 186 miles across Massachusetts, starting in Sturbridge and Wellesley and traveling through metro Boston to Provincetown at the tip of Cape Cod.

“I am incredibly proud of Team Shawmut’s continued dedication to this challenge. Every one of us has been affected by cancer in some way, so every mile we ride and every dollar we raise goes to supporting innovative research and patient care and the work to eradicate this disease,” said Hiscoe, who rode in his 14th event.

Team Shawmut is continuing to fundraise; to support, please visit: https://profile.pmc.org/TS0174.

Shawmut also sponsored the official 2025 PMC socks, which were given to each participating rider.
