Shertick of United Multi Family handles $615,000, 30-unit apartment sale

United Multi Family brokered the sale of 30 two-bedroom apartments located at 188-198 South Main St., for $615,000. The property consisted of two side by side 15-unit brick garden-style apartment buildings built in 1977 and 1979. According to UMF president, Rich Cawley, the sale was handled by Joe Shertick and sold by City National Bank to Kevin Lacasse in an "all cash" transaction. At the time of the sale, the property had a substantial amount of deferred maintenance with almost 60% of the units vacant.
